Our Story
Centrally Oregon started with a simple question: what would it look like if remote workers and artists shared the same space? The answer is what you see here — a studio, a desk, a community.
How It Started
Sunriver is one of the most beautiful places in Oregon. It's also a place where a lot of people work remotely, make art, and look for connection — but had nowhere to do it together.
We opened Centrally Oregon to change that. We wanted a place where a freelance designer could sit next to a ceramicist, where a novelist could write at a desk while a watercolor class happened in the next room.
We believe that when creative people share space, something unexpected happens. Ideas cross-pollinate. Friendships form. Work gets better. That's what we're here for.
What We Believe
We built this place for the people of Central Oregon — remote workers, artists, writers, and makers who do their best work alongside others.
Every corner of the space is designed to spark ideas — from the art studio to the co-working desks to the workshop space.
Whether you're a seasoned professional or picking up a paintbrush for the first time, there's a place for you here.
We're proud to be in Sunriver, Oregon — a place of extraordinary natural beauty that inspires everything we do.
The Culture
Members here look out for each other. They share tools, trade skills, and show up to each other's workshops. The culture is generous, curious, and low-ego.
We host monthly community events, open studio nights, and informal gatherings that bring the whole building together. You don't have to participate — but most people find they want to.
If you're new to Sunriver, this is a great place to meet people. If you've been here for years, it's a great place to finally have a home base.
Good to Know
We love having families visit the studio. Children are welcome and must be supervised by an adult at all times. We kindly ask that little ones remain quiet so that members working nearby can stay focused.
We adore animals, but to keep the studio comfortable for everyone, we ask that pets not be brought into the space. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
